February's Brightest Updates from The Light Providers!
Founders Corner
As Black History Month comes to a close, we celebrate not only this month, but the generations of leaders whose accomplishments continue to shape our present and future. We recognize the many men and women who broke down barriers before us and those who continue to break barriers today.
As a small Black-owned business, The Light Providers exists because others expanded what was possible. We draw inspiration from Mae Jemison, who demonstrated that excellence and intellect belong in every space we enter. From Muhammad Ali, who modeled courage and conviction beyond the ring. From Shirley Chisholm, who showed what it means to lead with principle and create opportunity where none previously existed.
Their examples remind us that leadership is not simply about achievement. It is about impact. It is about service. It is about building institutions, creating access, and leaving doors open for the next generation.
Our mission to address light poverty and design practical, purpose-driven products is grounded in that legacy. We are committed to building a company that reflects resilience, innovation, and community empowerment.
Black history is not confined to one month. It is a continuous story of progress, perseverance, and possibility. We are honored to contribute to that story in our own way.
We bring the light because others first lit the way.
