We started The Light Providers because we couldn't find a light that met the needs of families living without reliable power. Everything on the shelf was made for camping trips and backyard nights, built for occasional use while the power stayed on everywhere else.
So we built our own. Designed to be the light a household counts on every day. Before we sold a single product, we tested it with the people who actually live without reliable electricity. Our team interviewed more than 30 families across Sierra Leone and Liberia, then put our lights and solar panels directly into the hands of 12 households for weeks of real daily use.

Charge it with a standard USB cable and any wall outlet, just like your phone, or charge it anywhere with our solar panel. Magnets and a built-in hook mean it goes up in seconds, no tools, on metal or a nail. It's water-resistant for porches and outdoor work, and LED indicators show you exactly how much power is left, so you're never caught guessing. And when someone needs a charge, it doubles as an emergency power bank for a phone, enough to keep family connected when the power's out.
Our wireless light is as bright as a 75W bulb, or 1100 lumens. It can effectively light up a room of approximately 100 to 150 square feet, typically the size of a small to medium-sized room such as a bedroom, living room, or kitchen. You may need more than one light for larger spaces.
The wireless light lasts up to 8 hours on maximum brightness after a full charge, and over 24 hours at a full charge on low brightness. In full sunlight, our solar panel can fully recharge two wireless lights in just 5 hours.
